  • Gregory "Keith" Mann, Jr.
    Tue, Jun 19, 2018

20-year-old Keith Mann was last seen in Wichita Falls, Texas on Saturday, May 10th, 1997. Keith had worked that day and later went out with a couple friends. While they were hanging out, Keith mentioned that he was meeting someone at 12:15am. His friends said they dropped him off at his apartment around 11:45 PM. They told his family that they watched him walk up the stairs toward his apartment. That is the last time anyone claims to have seen Keith. The following day, the car that Keith was driving was spotted in a church parking lot just a few miles away. Keith’s disappearance is a baffling mystery with no obvious suspects to point to. Keith had no known enemies and nothing to be running from. I was joined by Gregg and Debra Mann for this episode.

If you have any information about the disappearance of Keith Mann, please contact  Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers (800) 322-9888 or the Wichita Falls Police Department at (940) 761-7762.  You can follow his case on Facebook at The Missing Mann Project - Keith Mann.Keith's family also has a website created by his sister: http://themissingmannproject.com

On the afternoon of September 7, 2014, Catherine Hoggle told her father that she was taking her 2 year-old son, Jacob, to get pizza in Montgomery County, Maryland. Hours later, she returned without him. By the next morning, Jacob’s 3-year-old sister, Sarah, would be missing too. For over two years, Catherine, has been in a psychiatric facility but she has been repeatedly declared incompetent. Law enforcement isn’t even allowed to question Catherine about what she did with little Jacob and Sarah leaving these two innocent children voiceless within our court system.

  • Lexy Anne Stacy
    Sat, Dec 03, 2016

Lexy Anne Stacy was a kind-hearted and independent-thinking young woman raised by two loving parents in Colorado's eastern plains. At 21, Lexy's BFF was her mother, Cindy, and she had three years in at the Westminster Walmart, where was named Employee of the Month, was well-liked, and made easy friends. Very much her own person, Stacy's tattoo sleeves and make-up heavy aesthetic were extensions of her vibrant and cheerful personality. But Lexy's technicolor world dimmed after she met Daniel Perkins on her 21st birthday. Perkins, a self-professed erudite and ladies' man, soon wreaked havoc in the Stacy household, driving a wedge between Lexy and her parents, and eventually Lexy and her friends. In the spring of 2015, Perkins gave Lexy a laptop to pawn because he didn't have an ID. What he didn't tell her was that he'd stolen it from her friend's house. Soon, a felony warrant was issued for her arrest.Things only got worse. Despite his previous failures as a criminal, Perkins robbed a bank in late May 2015, and was swiftly arrested. Nevertheless, Lexy exploited a clerical error to spring her sweetheart from the pokey. They've been on the run ever since.Where they are is anybody's guess. In late July 2016, a Missouri woman named Sheena Cox attempted to extort $2,000 from Lexy's heartbroken parents in exchange for information on their daughter's whereabouts. Disturbingly, Sheena implied Lexy was being held against her will, but records also show Sheena has been embroiled in a variety of real estate schemes. This week's investigation traces Lexy's whereabouts to a faux-utopia called Astral Valley, where Cox and Co. masquerade as peace lovin' hippies but may very well be involved in darker dealings behind the scenes? How can two cash-poor kids travel unnoticed for so long? We explore these questions and more in this episode of The Vanished.

    Wed, Nov 16, 2016

    Call with Lieutenant Lance Burnham

  • Donald "Donnie" Messier
    Wed, Nov 16, 2016

Donald Messier is as vanished as vanished gets. The 34-year-old Vermont native was on the rebound in October 2006 following a painful divorce. On the night of Oct. 14, 2006, Donnie went to Waitsfield, to enjoy himself at another of the epic parties thrown by a longtime buddy. Those there that night say Donnie left the party by himself between midnight and 2:30 a.m. on October 15, 2006.No one has seen him or his big-red pickup since.Over the following weeks, forests were searched and waters dredged, but the mystery behind Donnie's whereabouts only deepened. After giving it their half-hearted best, Vermont State Police determined Donnie wasn't a victim of foul play, suspecting he skipped out on the only life he's known or, perhaps, killed himself in the backcountry. For the last 10 years, his family has believed otherwise."I have heard some 'interesting' stories about how [he] just dropped off the face of the Earth with [his] truck," Donnie's father wrote on Facebook on Oct. 15, 2014. "Those responsible need to start looking over their shoulders because what goes around comes around."In this investigation, Marissa and Nathan eye the conspiracy of silence around the party Donnie went to that night, discovering that if you listen closely enough you begin hearing the secrets others have left embedded in the silence around them.

After questioning tracts of the investigation in the local press, Fitchburg, Wisconsin detective Shannan Sheil-Morgan all but cut Margie out of the loop. As state prosecutors launched a secret John Doe investigation into the circumstances around Amos's disappearance, Margie was left in the dark about whether anything was even being done to find her son.Her relationship with law enforcement only deteriorated over time as Margie learned important leads weren't being followed up, as people she suspected of being involved went unquestioned, and as detective Morgan herself made unprofessional comments, such as blaming the investigation for "ruining [her] marriage."A feature-length documentary film called "What Happened to Amos?" is currently in production. The documentary follows The Vanished producer Nathan Comp's decade-long effort to help Margie find the truth about her son's disappearance. Nathan has shared a lot from that effort over the last three episodes. Directed by filmmaker Kristina Motwani, the documentary follows Nathan's quest to help Margie get the answers authorities refused to give her.The film is 40 percent complete, but it needs your help. Together they drank, chased men, and took selfies in the bathroom together. But it wasn't all fun and games, especially once love struck a fearful tone, spurring her hasty return home after discovering those who love you can really hurt you the most. But once the bruises healed and her heart had warmed, Megan began to miss the party down in Bleeding Kansas, so she returned to Alden, to mom, to love... to be loved. Then one day –– and no one knows what day it was –– she was gone. Poof! Lost in the prairie dust and howling wind.
